Shri Krishna Stone Company manufactures sandstone temples built from Bansi Paharpur sandstone, known in the market for its natural pink colour. We currently offer 5–6 temple designs, each with its own photograph so you can compare the layout and carving before ordering. Every design can be built in a custom size, starting from approximately 8 × 12 ft.
Available Designs and Pricing
Each design differs in garbhagriha size, veranda styling, pillar work, and dome detailing, so each one is priced separately based on what it takes to build.
The price shown on this page belongs to the temple in the first product image, built at 8 × 12 ft. If you choose a larger size, the price goes up with the added stone and carving work; a smaller size costs less. The other designs shown here may be priced differently from this one, since their size and carving requirements aren’t the same. This is the sandstone temple price for the base design only — installation, GST, transportation, and other required materials are billed separately. Sandstone Temple Sizes and Customisation
We start at approximately 8 × 12 ft. Beyond that, sizes are built to your project — more stone and more carving work means a higher price, and a smaller custom size costs less than the base design. Tell us your required dimensions and we’ll work out what’s involved.
Bansi Paharpur Sandstone and Carving
We build every temple from Bansi Paharpur sandstone. It’s a stone that carves cleanly, which is why we can shape the pillar work, dome, and wall panels you see across our designs without losing detail.
What “Pink Sandstone” Means Here
Bansi Paharpur sandstone is commonly sold in the market as pink sandstone, referring to its natural colour rather than a separate stone type. It’s a common material choice for traditional Indian temple carving.
How We Manufacture Each Temple
At our facility, we start with design planning for the layout you’ve chosen. We then select the sandstone blocks, checking colour and consistency before cutting them to size. Carving is done next — pillars, domes, and wall panels are shaped individually — after which each component is prepared separately so it fits correctly at installation. Temple Applications
These designs are used for farmhouse temples, outdoor temple spaces, residential colony and community temples, and village temples. The custom sizing option also makes them workable for other private or religious projects that call for a stone structure.
Installation and Additional Charges
Installation is handled separately from manufacturing and isn’t included in the temple price shown. What it involves depends on your site and location.
